TASK 4 - Internet safety

  • Do many people agree to terms and conditions without reading them?    Yes, people agree to term and condition without reading
  • What happens when you click the Facebook button?                              That's mean that you agreed to a hall bunch of this terms and conditions and     one of them is giving the permission for Facebook to collect and  your personal information
  • Why are kids under 13 banned from most social media sites?                You see everything you post or click on through the Internet can potentially be stored and analysed.
  • What is the reason for that restriction?
Because kids under 13 couldn't make an informed decision about what personal                  information they should keep private online
  • How some kids under 13 still use the sites?
Kids still use social media sites by giving a false age.
  • What is the best way to protect children?
the best way to protect kids is to teach them from an early age how to stay safe and              private online.
Give examples for this:                                                                                                                             Asking before tagging someone in a picture or video.
Not revealing personal information.                                                                                           Recognise that others’ opinions will be different to yours.
